Koyoharu Gotouge

Koyoharu Gotouge is a Japanese manga artist best known for creating Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba, which was serialized in Weekly Shōnen Jump from 2016 to 2020. The series follows Tanjiro Kamado, a boy who becomes a demon slayer after his family is attacked and his sister turned into a demon.

Demon Slayer became one of the best-selling manga series of all time and was adapted into a hugely popular anime and film series, helping bring Gotouge international recognition. Relatively little is publicly known about the artist's personal life, as Gotouge has kept a low public profile throughout their career.
