Peter Thiel

Peter Thiel is an American entrepreneur, investor, and author. He co-founded PayPal and Palantir Technologies and was an early investor in companies including Facebook, making him one of the most prominent figures in Silicon Valley's technology and venture capital scene.

He is the author of Zero to One, a widely read book on startups and innovation based on a course he taught at Stanford. The book argues that true progress comes from creating something genuinely new — going from "zero to one" — rather than copying what already works, and it has become a staple recommendation in business and entrepreneurship circles worldwide, including in Indonesia.
