Richard Carlson was an American author, psychotherapist, and motivational speaker who became one of the best-known voices in popular self-help literature during the 1990s and early 2000s. He is best remembered as the creator of the Don't Sweat the Small Stuff series, a collection of short, accessible essays offering practical advice on managing stress and keeping everyday problems in perspective.
The series became an international publishing phenomenon, spawning numerous spin-off titles applying the same philosophy to specific areas of life — including work, parenting, and relationships. Jangan Membuat Masalah Kecil di Tempat Kerja Jadi Masalah Besar is the Indonesian translation of one such workplace-focused entry, applying Carlson's calm, common-sense approach to managing stress and conflict on the job.
Carlson passed away in 2006, but his books continue to be read and translated worldwide for their warm, easy-to-apply guidance on living a less stressful, more present life.
