iPusnas is free but popular titles often have waiting queues. Gramedia Digital is a large all-you-can-read subscription. MekarBooks Club is deliberately small: a curated catalog with no queues, a one-time pass instead of auto-renewing subscription, and a focus on indie publishers and classics you won't find featured elsewhere.
Does the Club Pass auto-renew?
No. It is a one-time purchase valid for 3 months. If you buy another pass while still active, the 90 days stack on top of your current expiry. No hidden charges, no subscription to cancel.
How many books can I borrow?
Up to 5 books at the same time, 14 days per loan. Books return automatically when the loan ends — no late fees, ever.
Can I download the books?
No — books are read online through the MekarBooks web reader. This keeps the catalog sustainable for the indie publishers who put their books in the Club. If you love a book, members get a 10% discount to buy a permanent copy.
